River of Dreams
Mission Statement:
To improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and significant
life challenges through the power of outdoor recreation.
River of Dreams, a501(c)3 nonprofit organization,
provides young people and adults the change to experience wilderness adventure,
regardless of disability, medical illness, or financial need. Ninety
percent of contributions are used to provide accessible, supervised outdoor
adventures and
follow-up support, creating new opportunities and belief in oneself.
Programs listed above are cosponsored by River of Dreams and the
Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department, Adaptive Recreation Services.
