Adaptive Cycling  
Join us as we pedal our way through some of Phoenix's most beautiful bike trails! 
Adaptive cycling is a    great way to meet new people and enjoy fresh air and sunshine while building strength and endurance.  We provide handcycles for those with mobity limitations, as well as tandem bikes (two-person bikes) for people with visual limitations.  After completing this program, participants will be eligible to rent the cycles on their own.

Cross Country Skiing
If you like hiking, you will love cross country skiing!  Weather permitting, we will offer one trip a year, where you will spend two glorious days cross country skiing in the high country of Arizona.  Conditioning sessions are offered to get ready for skiing.  We provide sit-skis for those with mobility limitations.

Sled Ice Skating
Expand your exercise horizons!  Sled ice skating is geared for people with mobility impairments, and is open to anyone.  We will provide all the equipment you will need, instructions and opportunity to practice sled ice skating.  We will also offer an optional clinic on the fundamentals of ice hockey.  Enjoy the fun and thrill of flying on the ice!

Adaptive Kayaking
Gliding freely across the surface of the water, seeing wildlife and recreating with friends are some of the best reasons for kayaking!  Kayaks, kayaking equipment, instruction and transportation from Telephone Pioneers of America Park will be provided. 
Join us in this fun activity!

Wilderness Camping
Join us for a fun filled outdoor experience!  Participants will have the opportunity to gain and use outdoor skills such as kayaking, hiking, and outdoor cooking, while meeting new friends and enjoying the wonders of nature.

Backpacking
One backpacking trip will be offered in the spring, so now is the time to get ready!  People who have participated in Daring Adventures hikes will have priority in our backpacking program.  We will help you get ready for the trip with a pack fitting clinic and conditioning hikes. 

Hiking
Stay connected with nature by spending time day hiking at numerous trails throughout Phoenix.  Guided hikes of various lengths and difficulty will be offered.  Hiking wheelchairs and other assistive hiking chairs are available.  So get out with us and visit some new trails!

Most programs do carry a fee.  Program fees vary from program to program and include a wide variety of services and equipment.  Volunteer service exchange is available to help offset program fees if needed.
